You figure you can find everything you need on the internet. You will end up buying some simply wrote exercise program coupled with an even simpler wrote nutrition program and maybe even sign up at a gym. At first it will all feel like it is going really good, you will be feeling better mentally and have more energy. You will tell all your friends and family what you’re doing and how great and simple it all is. You will set your expectations really high like “I’m going to lose 30lbs before (insert special event here). After the first week you’re down by 5 – 7lbs and your amazed! “This is so easy” you tell yourself “why didn’t I do this years ago?” Then after the second week you only lose 3lbs, but that’s okay because a loss is a loss right? After the third week you only lose 1lb, and then none. You may have even gained some weight back at this point. Now your enthusiasm is dropping, motivation is disappearing and your eating stuff you know you shouldn’t but you don’t care anymore because what’s the point right? You’ve put all this hard work and effort into losing weight over the last 4 weeks, your maybe down 10lbs and the scale is starting to climb again. The “special event” is around the corner and you feel like you don’t even want to go anymore. You now have a monthly gym membership to pay for and you can’t muster up any motivation to go. A feeling of failure is coming over you and you ultimately give up…… Any of this sound familiar?? Have you had a similiar experience in the past? How did it end up for you? Well this is the whole reason I’m writing this article, to tell you that in no way shape or form does it have to be this way. Not at all! You need to remember, you have spent your whole life getting you to the point your at now. No matter what happened in the past, this is where you are…! And it is now that will make all the difference in the world. It’s what you decide to do now that will either change your future for the better or keep you heading down the same road your used to. This can be about anything, not just training. Work, school, marriage, holidays whatever, your ability to effect anything and everything all starts right now! And if the one thing that you want to change in your current lifestyle is your health then this is where I would reccomend a personal trainer. Just by improving your health, you can have a dramatic and positive effect on other faccets of your life. You will be feeling more happy, confident, alive and in charge of your life. Your relationships with your friends and family will deepen due to your new found feeling of youth, and happiness. These are all the things a personal trainer can help you achieve. They are someone to help you through the tuff times and sort out all the questions you will most definitely have. Someone who truly has your personal well being at heart and considers it a priority.  These are the real benefits of having a personal trainer, they are so much more then someone walking you through your exercise program and telling you what to do.
